Sooo my key chain for my car key broke into four pieces. The fabric just kind of tore up suddenly. Couldn't take anymore :'(.

Do any of you guys know someone who takes key chain commissions? I'm thinking something like clay (can those take any sort of abuse like getting thrown in a purse, or do I have to be really careful?) or maybe even metal?? I've seen these offered before, but now I don't know where to look :I.

Wooow been forever since an art post. SORRY GUYS. I miss my tablet pen ;3;.

Also warning. Some of these are really old. We're talking back from JUNE sort of old. D: They range from June to last Monday. They are ordered oldest to newest.

So.. deformed :|

I drew this in Hawaii... Somehow a golden dwarf moray (a Hawaiian endemic) in a sort of Hawaiian scene seemed like a cute idea.

That oozing monster on the side was supposed to be a mutated hexadragon :V.

This was REALLY COOL in my head. Something happened between my head and the paper. It's a ling cod eating a smaller rock cod, eating a live anchovy bait fish. This actually happened at the docks here. The ling wasn't even hooked, but it got pulled on board anyway because it just wouldn't let go! BADASS.

I started this thinking about serious different patterns and colors. Then my art block woke up and was like SCREW THIS, MAN. Then rainbows happened. I don't know how to feel about this.

I was hesitant to post this but whatever. I see other people posting vent art, so although I thought I was past this shit GUESS AGAIN. Now and then isn't so bad I guess.

Shinerai and Tantalummmm :}! This was fun.

Three drawings, but one of them is pretty wide.

I drew Moro's Pride for her current story B). This guy is awesome. The mouths open, and he actually ends up tripping and falling out of his skin in the story xD;;.

Fish being retarded.

I also drew Moro's chimeras >:U. She let me decide what the third animal would be, and of course I said eel 6__9. These chimeras belong to Lust in the storyyy.

Okay these were about to get lost behind a good 7 pages of photos on my pb, so here is the smallest art post ever. I just didn't want to forget about them.

This one was actually from last night. Done right before I went to fag up iscribble, but none of those were worth saving. Still kind of happy I drew something last night even though they all looked like ass.

These are photos from TODAY. :E Oh and Caskin, I guess you're right about it being a mojave xD. The faded eyestripes just throw me off!

I very nearly took this girl home ;^;. Sooooo gorgeous. So yellow and tiny as heck. This photo does her no justice, but maybe that's because I was drooling over her for like an HOUR and holding her for a good amount of time. I was sooo close to snagging her, and if I have regrets about not doing so later I took the guy's card...

This boa was two shades of white, but my camera said YELLOW. Have to remember the lighting at a reptile show isn't really the best.

This lizard kept making my camera cry :(. It was so bright that it just couldn't take it! Needed shades to look at this lizard. Finally got a half decent shot of it after many failures.

This girl was soft as baby skin.

For Skulldog :). Could have really used a tripod for this x___x.

I love these cooornnns.

I wish I wish I wish the plastic wasn't scuffed. With more effort I could clean that up, but ... lol

You know what. I shot the turtles in RAW to test it out, and I couldn't preview them and they took forever to open up in PS. Therefore I randomly opened two up and worked with them :|. I do not know if these last two are actually the best, BUT TOO BAD FOR ME. I will learn more about it later.

Awwwriiight. I spent forever in the front yard taking pictures of Al and Ambellina on different flowers lololol.

People stopped me and were like "OMG IS THAT A REAL SNAKE OOOO:??" And everyone was really cool about it, asked me their names, wanted to touch them (and were so surprised at how soft they are), etc. It was relieving. I've been avoiding the front yard because I've been afraid of people thinking CREEPY SNAKE PEOPLE LIVE THERE, but that wasn't the response I got :D.

Request for Skysealerrrr under the cut.

Came out more blue/purple than magenta. @^@; I could have layered some of my brighter pinks and purples to get the right color, but this didn't strike me until it was too late. With the base being so dark the blue shading didn't do a great job of showing up, and it didn't look to have depth so I had to... highlight with white ;;. Markers only multiply and I forgot that until it was too laaate. But I will keep it in mind for the future, and hopefully future marker attempts will be without white abuse and be more accurately colored. LAYERING. MUST LEARN IT. I really hate having to resort to the white gel pen fff.

(Any marker tips are totally welcome.)

Done in OC with Moro and Taterrrr. Yay.

I figured out what I was not liking about Tikall's striiipes. It appears I FORGOT HOW TO DRAW THEM. So I looked back to older pics of him and did a big D'OH. Recently I've been drawing the dark color as the stripes, when the stripes really are the light color. And they don't extend so far. I am suddenly happy with them again. And I'm drawing them how I was in the first place. What is wrong with me lol.

I changed a couple other things too, but whateverrr. In my fiddling I realized dark brown hair looked better than red on him, so there you go.

Drawing Rangirae and Mato as fat cats made me feel better.

Al turned out way dull in the last photo shoot, and it depressed me :C. I thought it looked semi accurate till later and he started to look ugly in them :S. I had to go pull Al out to make sure he didn't mysteriously turn unfab! Thank goodness it was just the pics- he's still pretty ;u;. And today the light outside was better and I think for once I actually got his colors right :D. I took them all with the 100mm lens and I think that helped, too.

Ambellina also shed today so I snapped some shots of her!

These next two are the most accurate I've ever gotten color-wise. I'm so happy ;;.

Took Al outside and HNNNGGGGG the 18-55mm lens actually seems to have a different, unnatural tint to it so I had to do some PS correcting :S.

Back to the 100mm lens :V

1 photo and 4 very very quick doodles.

I have found that taking photos through water and a bowed viewing panel is still MUCH harder than taking them of the snakes. Like jeez. I also need better lighting on the tank that I could just turn on when taking photos I think... The hood can actually hold 6 bulbs, and I only have 2 right now because otherwise it gets too hot if I'm not running a chiller. If I just have them on during photo shoots though that would be totally fine. c:

I like how it got his textuuure at least, even if I'm not fond of anything else lol.

Changed his nose derp. Been debating this over for the last year, and maybe you've noticed I've done it a few times just to see how it looks, but now I'm making it part of the design. More reptiley o yah. It takes me 100 years to make little changes I know.

Some very quick, doodley drawingggsss.

Technically wouldn't be alive at this point BUT FOR THE PICTURE...! Feel like I should have tried a tad bit harder on this.

I colored this one differently... Was very interesting.

This one started as Sahn and turned into something else 6__9.

Kind of a revisit to the way I did "I've Sent You Love Letters," just to see if my lazy drawing has improved. I like this one more in coloring and stuff, but I do like the inclusion of the hands and mood in the other one :P. This one is more of a very simple portrait than the other, but that's okay.
